"Quality begins with Me"

 

Mr. Prasanna Kumarji, started his career as a lecturer joined Export Inspection Agency as a Quality Inspector. After completing twenty eight years of service, as Assistant Director, EIA,  he took voluntary retirement and founded Quality Assurance in the year 1994. His vision is to make Indian products to be the No:1 in the world market without compromising on quality and by educating the workers from the lower, middle and upper class people involved in the production and shipment of Indian Cargo. His selfless commitment to the job, perseverance and his sense of discipline & hard work has taken Quality Assurance to the No:1 position in the buyers’ choice of quality inspectors. Today QAS is undisputedly the leader in the field of Quality Control. He believes in the whole hearted support of his  staff members and finds it as the driving force behind his success.

Mrs. Merry, a double post graduate, in Psychology and in Business Administration, takes care of the routine work of QAS. She is also responsible for the entire technical and administration work of QAS. Travels extensively all over India.

Having to his credit an exhaustive experience of almost three decades in the field of quality assurance and certification of cashew export and retired as Asst Director, Export Inspection Agency and further 9 years experience as a quality consultant in a private sector, is also a Master Trainer  of technical & soft skills and ISO 9000 series QMS. He is also a post graduate Diploma holder in ECO & ENV affairs.

With the 17 years experience in procuring of raw nuts, processing and packaging for export, Mr.Jayakrishnan, a self disciplined authority, leads the entire Quality Inspections team of QAS-Mangalore.

Mr.Sunil K Nambiar, a graduate, has gained vast experience and knowledge of the industry working with Alagro group of companies and other cashew processing units. He has excellent knowledge of processing cashew kernels and has joined QAS Team in 1998 and has nearly 20 years experience in processing, supervising & inspecting cashew kernels for export

As the department head at the filling and packing center, M/s MVR Industries, kollam,  and M/S OLAM Exports, Mr. Joy has deep knowledge and 17 years’ experience in the quality systems for cashew export. He has always been a major strength to the QAS Team.

A Diploma holder in Mechanical engineering, Mr. Sasi Kumar has 12 years of service with M/s Thomas Stephen & Co as Officer-Administration and later joined QAS as Accounts Officer. Now he has 33 years experience and heads the accounts department as Sr.Accounts Officer.

 

Dr.Mathew – Doctorate in BioOrganic Chemistry has four decades of teaching experience which includes two decades of research in polymer chemistry.  He is a retired Professor and Head of Chemistry Department in Christian College, Chengannur of the Kerala University. He is a Chartered Chemist and a Professional Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Cambridge, London. 

Dr.Mathew has received several honours and Fellowships. He is the recipient of the Teacher Fellowship of the UGC (1989-92), Andhra University Medal for outstanding Research Thesis in Chemistry (1991-92), and Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Visiting Fellowship to undergo Post Doctoral studies on antimalarial peptides at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram (1997-98).   

He has published 10 research publications in international refereed journals and presented 21 papers in various National seminars/symposia including 3 in international polymer symposia.  He is an approved research guide of the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.  He has successfully supervised the dissertation of over150 M.Sc. and B.Sc. students and produced one Ph.D. in collaboration with Dr.Sabu Thomas (MG University).
